When Ricky and Rosso’s owner unexpectedly and sadly died he had left instruction the three year old brothers to be put to sleep. Thankfully the family disagreed and, unable to home the pair themselves, they ask us to help find the lovely pair a new home together. The owner’s carer did have them for a short while but they did not integrate with her existing cat. We believe them to be Burmese breed but don’t have any supporting paperwork because of the confusion after their owner died.
They both have a lovely temperament and get on well together although, like most siblings, once in a while they do have their differences. Rosso tends to be a bit more adventurous than Ricky but both quickly regained their mojo within a few days of coming into our care.
They have used their tray from the get go and are not fussy eaters. They have been well looked after and recently checked over by local vets. We think Ricky and Rosso will make super companions in almost most homes – they are big cats but could be ‘indoor only’ if you have a large home and can give them plenty of attention/stimulation.
As with all our cats, Rosso & Ricky will have been vaccinated, wormed, flead, microchipped, neutered and vet checked before homing. To help offset these costs we respectfully ask for a minimum donation of £100 for each cat towards the cost of veterinary treatment.
All Silk Cats come with four weeks of complimentary PetPlan insurance for complete peace of mind – we recommend you consider arranging your own insurance at the end of the four weeks – there is a guide here: About Insurance
