Bruno was roaming the streets of Macclesfield and having to fight for his food when he came to our attention. Very wary, streetwise and avoiding humans we had to enlist the help of the community to catch him with the aid of a humane trap.

Pretty battered on arrival (and very smelly) we tried in vain to find his owner before giving up and taking him officially into care. Very shell shocked it’s taken him a few weeks to regain his mojo but, boy, isn’t he a character now?

Demanding attention and head butts, quite often with a little cry he’s going to make someone a lovely companion.

As with all our cats, Bruno is vaccinated, wormed, flead, microchipped, and neutered before homing. To help offset these costs we respectfully ask for a minimum donation of £85 towards the cost of veterinary treatment. And all Silk Cats come with four weeks, complimentary PetPlan insurance – we recommend you consider arranging your own insurance at the end of the four weeks – there is a guide here: About Insurance

If you would like a new companion to share your home, please complete our online registration form (http://www.tiny.cc/about_me.) Please note we only rehome to safe environments (no busy roads etc) and no more than half an hour’s travel away in case post-adoption support is needed.
