Noah‘s owners were moving home but, tragically, were not allowed to take their beautiful cat with them – so they turned to Silk Cat Rescue for help. Arriving with us in early November it took him about a week to regain his mojo. It turns out his favourite place for petting is under his chin, base of this tail and his head / ears and, boy, doesn’t he love his treats?

According to his owner, Noah likes humans but he has never lived with young children or other animals – in foster care he’s met other cats and a placid dog and seems to react well. Children we still don’t know about (we normally ask visitors but can’t do that because of lockdown,) however we feel he’d very much favour a quiet home so probably not a good idea on the whole. We’re told Noah loves playing and cardboard boxes.

Noah seeks attention and will sit on a lap although he seems happier just being with you. Given his affectionate nature, we’d like to find him a quiet home where he’s not left on his for long periods.

As with all our cats, Noah has been health checked by a vet, is wormed, flead, microchipped, neutered and vaccinated. To help offset these costs we respectfully ask for a minimum donation of £85 per cat or £100 per kitten (under 12 months old.)  All Silk Cats come with four weeks, complimentary PetPlan insurance.

We are quite happy to home cats in any local postcode so long as it’s not too far away (in case post-adoption support is necessary to help your new companion settle in) and is away from busy roads and other hazards.

Note – despite the pandemic, using DEFRA approved guidance we are still rehoming but using strict, covid secure, procedures.
