This lively, five-month old kitten is looking for a new home.
JJ’s previous owner asked us to take him into care because he was too much of a handful for her and her young family. And yes, he is boisterous but that’s what kittens are like and he’s a confident, energetic, bundle of fun and affection.
He’s been a delight to look after and we’ve not has any health problems. But we think he must have been encouraged to play with fingers when he was younger. When excited, on entry, he treated hands as toys – he’s still a kitten so not a problem but unless corrected could be quite painful ongoing! So much so, we’ve almost fully retrained him now and he knows it is wrong (he is a very fast learner.) However, we do get a rare, occasional lapse so don’t feel he would be suitable for children under 14 to ensure a consistent approach ongoing.
JJ loves snuggling up, playing with ping-pong balls and chasing his thing on a string. He is a little vocal and seeks attention. He really is a super kitten.
Because of the amount of stimulation he needs and energy he needs to burn off, he will need new owners where he is not left home-alone for long periods.
All our cats are health checked by a vet, wormed, flead, microchipped, neutered and vaccinated before being homed. To help offset these costs we respectfully ask for a minimum donation of £85 per cat or £100 per kitten (under 12 months old.) As a bonus, all Silk Cats come with four weeks, free PetPlan insurance.
Whilst helping cats in the SK postcode area, we are quite happy to home cats in so long as it’s (in case post-adoption support is necessary to help your new companion settle in) and is away from busy roads and other hazards.
