We were alerted to these three youngsters, Tips, Pea and Gee who were living in a summer house in Hazel Grove and being cared for by their feral mother. One trapping session later and all four were in our care – mother was neutered and returned to site and the kittens, weaned, stayed with us.
All a little bit shy, they can be picked up, cuddled and purr in return – no hissing, biting or scratching but they are still a ‘work in progress’ so would be better placed with a family used to cats. Ideally a quiet home where they can get oodles of attention and blossom in to the lovely cats we know they are.
All the kittens have used their tray reliably, are not fussy about food and have been healthy throughout our stay with us. They can be homed individually, better in pairs or best still, a triple.
As with all our cats, Tips, Pea and Gee have been vaccinated, wormed, flead, microchipped, and neutered before homing. To help offset these costs we respectfully ask for a minimum donation of £125 per head towards the cost of veterinary treatment.
All Silk Cats come with four weeks of complimentary PetPlan insurance – we recommend you consider arranging your own insurance at the end of the four weeks – there is a guide here: About Insurance
