Elvis P was handed in to the PDSA as a stray cat unable to use his left hind leg. Upon Xray is was found his pelvis was partially fractured and he’d need a few weeks cage rest to allow natural healing to take place. On arrival with us, we asked an orthopaedic specialist surgeon to assess Elvis P’s pelvis and the resulting prognosis was good – sure enough, six weeks on there’s no visible sign it was ever broken and Elvis P has full mobility and can be homed normally.

Elvis P is a gentle cat who purrs and kneads at the slightest provocation. And he certainly has the looks too. In care he’s used his tray reliably and prefers dry food, about which he’s not fussy.

He’s an easy cat to look after, very straight forward and a great companion.

As with all our cats, Elvis P has been vaccinated, wormed, flead, microchipped, and neutered before homing. To help offset these costs we respectfully ask for a minimum donation of £100 towards the cost of veterinary treatment.

All Silk Cats come with four weeks of complimentary PetPlan insurance – we recommend you consider arranging your own insurance at the end of the four weeks – there is a guide here: About Insurance
