Toots has a lovely nature and is in good health. Picked up as a stray here in Bollington being, kindly, fed by one of the residents and living in a car port. Chipped but with the address out of date we tried our best to find her owner. We do know she was neutered in Hackney, London and then, at around 7 years old, she found herself with a rescue in Bishop’s Stortford where she was rehomed locally. In July, Toots’ owner moved out of the address registered on the microchip. And from there, the trail goes cold – one can only speculate how she managed to get to Bollington.

Given her background, its not really surprising Toots has lost some of her mojo and it’s taken a few weeks for her to settle in to yet another ‘home’ and new routined. But, as each day passes, she shows more interest in her surroundings and the volunteers who visit and care for her.

Ready now for her (hopefully) forever home we think, being middle aged, she needs a quieter home with owners who have a little bit of previous cat experience and who can coax out the best in her. She will be a super companion.

READY for homing – if you’d like to adopt, please read the information here: ‘Our Homing Process’ and then complete a matchmaker/registration form

As with all our cats, Toots has been vaccinated, wormed, flead, microchipped, and neutered before homing. To help offset these costs we respectfully ask for a minimum donation of £100 each towards the cost of veterinary treatment.

All Silk Cats come with four weeks of complimentary PetPlan insurance – we recommend you consider arranging your own insurance at the end of the four weeks – there is a guide here: About Insurance
